Here at Essential Healing, I’ve discovered that there are 4 pillars or foundations that are essential to living the life you came to the planet to live: A great, Conscious, LIFE!!!!
In my work and life experience, I’ve learned, continue to learn and continue to share these pillars of essential well being with my clients.
My work as a hypnotherapist, healer and life coach has provided me with the vantage from which to view the awe-inspiring vistas of personal healing.
Each client has their own adventure on the road to wellness and balance, and it is my privilege to be a supportive partner in that journey.
Life isn’t always easy, but I’ve identified four pillars as foundations to a great life, a life that highlights and empowers all people to live life in alignment with their unique and special purpose, personal clarity and sovereign authority.
Inner Discernment – This refers to the clarity that comes from within – your own personal wisdom and inner guidance, your intuition. When you are aligned and centered, you know what you want out of life. It’s when we introduce doubt to that clear thinking that things get muddled and confused.
Personal Sovereignty – This refers to when you trust and know that the life you are living is free from the outside influence of others.
This does not mean that we cannot have agreements with and commitments to others. It means that you take personal responsibility for every decision you’ve ever made. Period.
When this is done, and you can personally own your decisions, choices and actions, then you are personally sovereign, and that is true FREEDOM!
Aligned Inspiration – You know that feeling of electrified curiosity and joy over what’s next in your life’s adventure?
Or the feeling of total appreciation for the moment you are living?
Perhaps it’s after a great jog in nature, or after talking to a dear friend. That heightened emotional state is your indication that you are in alignment.
It’s from this place of ecstatic joy and excitement that your most inspired ideas, expressions, conversation, creative inventions, love making – you name it – will be generated. It is important to understand this about human nature and incorporate it into your life as frequently as possible. The more you are in a state of aligned inspiration, the better your life will be.
Empowered Action – When you’re familiar with the experience of aligned inspiration, you’ll learn to trust that all action that you take in this state is like an exponential power thruster.
It provides massive leverage to that inspired action, making all other actions limp by comparison. It will make very good sense to you to be in this aligned state when performing any action at all. I dare you to try!
Starting your day out in alignment
Start your day in a way that makes you feel great. I recommend:
- Setting your intention for that day (i.e., have as much fun as possible).
- Write the intention in a journal that you keep by your bed (those who have small children will think this is absurd, LOL).
- Be easy on yourself.
- Explore exercise and meditation practices that feel right for you.
- Before you go to bed write all the things that lined up with your intention (before you collapse into a comatose sleep).
- Allow yourself to feel appreciation for each aligned moment.
- Set intention for the next day and write it in your journal.
- Try it again.

I’ve been noticing the progress we have been making as a collective. It is powerful. Can you feel it? I’ve been feeling a powerful welling up of energy in my heart, and it feels as if it just might burst open. In fact it periodically does! Kaboom! Yet, I continue to periodically “tend” to the moments where I perceive feelings of being stuck and stressed, off balance.
Here are some helpful techniques for shifting your consciousness away from the old outdated “reality” (what quantum theorist increasingly show is illusory and simply subjective perspective) into in the NOW of the New Year!
In this shifting time of dynamic back and forths in the the power structure of this illusion, it can be a little funky living a life in the typical day to day, given the particular part of the illusion you are “stationed” in. As you may know, in my everyday (ok, lets just call it what it is – illusory reality) I am a mom, wife, hypnotherapist, sister, friend and the list goes on.
My point is not to blast holes in the reality that I have intentionally created. I happen to be quite fond of the hologram that I am participating in. However, my goal is to throw open the cupboard doors on a way of looking at this personal/collective reality to assist with the increase in demand for integration and forward movement in a functional, easy way. A way that serves my/your/our highest purpose.
Looking back on the past year and beyond, you may notice that you and everyone around you has gone through a lot of change. As we move into this new year and more highly vibrating energy of 2015, how do we as awakening beings continue to grow and further refine our mastery in the light arts while continuing our dance in the shifting illusion?
The sensation of resistance, or struggle is a perception designated by our conscious minds over the course of our life experience. The raw data that initiated this designation was neither good nor bad when it happened, yet through modeling of behavior from others and our conscious mind, we assigned a way of perceiving this and related experiences. When the sensation of resistance occurs, the conscious mind is chiming a signal. It’s saying “Hello! Change is being requested!” The conscious tends to feel more “at home” with patterned experiences and familiarity. Change takes focus, effort, intention. This shows up in our body language and breathing patterns as stress, tension and aggravation, which can lead to anger, resentment and fear.
In terms of shifting and disentangling, this signal really only means one thing. That attention is needed. It’s like a light going on in your car informing you that your engine needs maintenance. So what does attention to this signal look like? It looks like integration. Take a moment and imagine how the term integration shows up for you. For me, integration looks like the merging of two gently moving streams into one. Integrating aspects of self can seem counter-intuitive from the perspective of the 3rd density story/illusion. Especially when we have developed powerful internal mechanisms to block and make a U-turn away from these moments. When we have these moments of resistance, it is at this precise time that a tremendous opportunity for healing and growth awaits us.
Pause instead of reacting.
Often, our focus on the event that we are experiencing amplifies the intensity with which we are feeling it. Our subconscious mind has also been patterned to respond to stimulus with a reaction. By pausing, and taking our foot off the go pedal, we can create and initiate a disruption from the patterned response, and place the moment in a type of suspended animation and take a step back. I liken this to the moments in the movie The Matrix where everything pauses and you get a 360 degree view of the scene. Do that. By taking a step back you are literally changing your participation in the illusion from a passive to an active participant. Re-programming it to allow for new possibilities.
Take a deep breath.
Breathing in at this moment allows for the pause and new perspective to activate. By breathing, allowing the new, more expanded imagery to fill in, you further solidify the expansion.
Connect with Intention.
Intentionality draws our thoughts from an unconscious, or subconscious state into the light of our consciousness. The energy of our intention sets the tone for what we desire. Once initiated, this carves out a new if/then pathway in the neurology of the brain as well as the structure of the illusion, immediately impacting and altering how the future unfolds.
Gifting the “Allow”
Allowing is the gift of “letting go in action”. When we allow after setting our intention, we “un-press” the pause button and move into a state of unfoldment. This is also the ultimate act of faith in expression. Faith in these moments, along with the notion of “letting go” can seem counter intuitive and down right hard. However, by exercising and strengthening our “muscle memory” in this process we enable ourselves to move through these difficult moments with split second precision, reconnecting us with our inner mastery; the mastery we came to the planet to express.
As we sail into the new year, we reflect upon where we have been and where we are going. We can’t know now how events and happenings will play out, all we know is that they will. By fortifying our skill set for effortless transitioning in thinking and action, we will be prepared and ready for the abundance that awaits us.
Some may find it hard to believe that we as human beings have unlimited potential. And what does this really mean anyway? What this means to me as a hypnotherapist, healer and life coach is that we people tend to get stuck focusing on the things we observe every day. This can have negative consequences if we tend to notice things that induce fear, stress, and validations that the world is going to hell in a hand basket!
In the work I do, I see people who are stuck in a feed back loop of negativity. This tends to impact people on all levels: Work, Family, Love and Finances. So how does a person change their life and launch into the stratosphere?
My goal in my work is to let people know that they are more than the sum of their personal narrative; their story. Remember, if you accept that you are what you think, and you’re telling yourself that “I’ll never amount to anything” or ” I am just not happy-go-lucky” then chances are pretty good that you are having difficulty achieving your goals successfully, or that you tend to be a little on the gloomy side. You are the creator of that reality! The good news is, if you’ve found yourself in my office, or reading this blog, there is a pretty good chance that you might be (at least slightly) open to a new narrative. A story that is more appropriate for your new, more optimistic personal narrative. One that might even include being open to a nice helping of smiles and happiness! I mean, shoot for the moon!
There is no limit to the fun and success we can get out of life when we learn how to become empowered in our thoughts.
Vasana: Ancient soul wound immerging from the human energy body as: A traumatic flash back, rage, anger, fear, physical pain, exhaustion, sadness, sorrow
If you are reading this, it’s likely that you are familiar with the term and concept of Vasana or ancient wound. Even if you are new to this subject, it’s likely there is a juicy bit for here for you. My goal in this article is to provide a practical tool to assist and empower those who feel side-tracked or troubled by these soul wounds.
Firstly, you are not alone. All awakening beings are experiencing vasanas on some level. Because they are a natural part of the ascension process (awakening of human consciousness), it is important to understand that we must resolve these ancient wounds for our soul’s evolution. You absolutely CAN learn how to cope and release these wounds. Because our souls live forever, we can do the work now or later, quickly or slowly. There is no time frame. The work will indeed get done; it’s just a matter of whether or not you want to do it now. Because of ascension, there is added “support” energetically for the processing of these wounds, making them more noticeable in our daily lives; often distracting us and draining our internal resources.
Because so many of us are light workers eager to be of service to the planet at this time, it can be discouraging when an ancient wound rears up and forces our attention away from our service work. Please trust and know that this is part of the work, and we have to decide to roll-up our sleeves and get through it if we are going to actualize our true potential as light beings. However, the choice is yours.
When experiencing an ancient wound it is essential to look internally to the mind and make an intentional connection with our higher self. Because we are spirit beings having a human experience you are more vast than the human biological organism has the capacity to access. Imagine fitting all of the light of the sun into a jar and closing the lid, that just about gets at how vast we are. Yet here on Earth, we lose the sensation of that knowing. The great news is the higher self is accessible by way of your mind.
Trusting without scientific proof may be a stretch for some; yet I suggest that is as easy as a decision to be willing. Trust that our higher self is as close and accessible as our index finger is to our thumb.
While experiencing an ancient wound, however you experience it; we can all agree that it feels lousy. These old yucky, painful, often ugly, tucked-away aspects of our selves can take our breath away. Here’s something to try. It can be done anywhere with eyes open or closed, just make sure you are seated or near a chair if you need to sit during the process.
1) Agree and acknowledge that you are having this experience, and breathe.
2) Decide and trust that you have the courage to get through it.
3) Reach out to your higher self. Simply think or state out loud “Higher self, please be with me now.”
4) Notice where in your body, and how you are experiencing your wound.
5) Ask your higher self to assist you in becoming the observer to your experience.
6) See yourself in your mind’s eye standing to the side of your experience viewing it in it’s entirety and without judgment.
7) Allow the wound to tell you what it needs. You might ask “Wound what are you showing me” or “How can I help you heal”?
8) Imagine the higher self/observer aspect of self giving the wound what it needs with unconditional love. It could be healing light, sound, a prayer, whatever feels most appropriate to you.
9) Ask the wound if there is anything else that can be done at this time to assist in its healing. If so, repeat steps 7 and 8.
10) Now ask that all aspects of self be combined and integrated into a new more whole and healthy you.
Releasing our wounding comes in layers. It is important to be patient and kind with ourselves as we traverse the terrain of this wild and truly awesome journey of life as human beings on glorious Terra Gaia.
Affirmation: I am open to love, to growth and to the light of my spirit.
